World Gin Day

To celebrate this joyous occasion we looked far and wide to pair some of our favorite gin cocktails with bar carts.

Modern

Leslie Grace

  • Combine 1 oz Hendrick’s Gin, 1/4 oz St. Germain Elderflower liqueur, and 3 oz club soda in a Collins glass filled with ice.

  • Garnish with cucumber slices.

Ginger Collins

A delightfully modern and refreshing twist on the Tom Collins

  • Combine 1.5 oz Hendrick’s Gin, ¾ oz Domaine De Canton ginger liqueur, and ½ oz fresh lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

  • Strain over Collins glass filled with ice, top with 3 oz club soda and a lemon wedge

The Classics

Gin Martini

  • Combine 2.5 oz London dry gin and .5 oz dry vermouth with ice in a
    mixing glass or cocktail shaker

  • Stir or shake and strain into a couple glass

  • Garnish with 1 lemon twist or 1-3 olives

Gin and Tonic

  • Fill a highball glass with ice

  • Rub a wedge of lime around rim of glass

  • Add 1.5 oz London dry gin, lime wedge, and top with tonic

  • Do not stir

Back in Fashion

Negroni

  • Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice

  • In a mixing glass or shaker, combine 1.5 oz each of gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth

  • Stir or shake and pour into rocks glass

  • Garnish with an orange wheel

Tom Collins

  • Fill a chilled collins glass with ice

  • Combine 2 oz Old Tom style gin, ¾ oz fresh lemon juice, ½ oz simple syrup, and ice cubes in a cocktail shaker

  • Shake to combine, then add 2 oz chilled club soda or seltzer to shaker  (do not shake again)

  • Strain into collins glass, twist a lemon peel over the surface and drop in

Ramos Gin Fizz

  • Chill 2 champagne flutes or coupes

  • Combine 2 oz. gin. 1 oz cream, 1 raw egg white (use pasteurized), .5 oz simple syrup, .5 oz lime juice, .5 oz lemon juice in a blender (recommended) or cocktail shaker

  • Add 1 flute or coupe-full of ice to blender; double ice if using a shaker

  • Blend 30-40 seconds or shake 5-10 mins until mixture is silky

  • Add .25 oz orange-flower water or soda and pour into champagne glasses


 

Retro

White Lady

  • Combine 1.5 oz London dry gin, 1 oz Cointreau, ¾ oz fresh lemon juice, 1 tsp simple syrup, and 1 egg white (optional but worth it) in a cocktail shaker and shake until egg white is frothy (if using) or mixture is combined.  

  • Add ice to fill shaker and shake again until chilled

  • Strain into chilled cocktail glass

  • Top with club soda

  • Garnish with lime spiral and little umbrella

Singapore Sling

  • Fill a collins glass with ice

  • Combine 2 oz London dry gin, 2 oz cherry liquor, ¼ oz Benedictine, ½ oz Cointreau, 2 oz pineapple juice, ¾ oz fresh lime juice and Angostura bitters in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

  • Combine and strain into collins glass and top with pineapple or your preferred tropical fruit.

Gimlet

  • Combine 1.5 oz gin and .5 oz Rose’s lime juice in a shaker with ice and

  • Shake until chilled and strain into a martini glass or old-fashioned glass filled with ice

  • Drop a lime wedge into the drink and serve
